Laser Line Polarization Beamsplitter Cube

Laser Line Polarization Beamsplitter Cube is used to cut off laser beams of a targeted wavelength. As it is a polarizing beamsplitter, the polarization of the outgoing beams remains the same when the incoming beam is a varied polarized light. Being partial-reflective coated mirrors, but often used with the incident of angle at 45°, cube beam splitters consist of a thin cube of optical glass with a different type of coatings.


BK7 is the most common optical glass used in high-quality optical components as it is a hard glass that can withstand a variety of physical and chemical exposure. Relatively scratch and chemical resistant, it has a low bubble and inclusion content, therefore making it an ideal choice for precision lenses. It is the ideal choice for general purpose visual and NIR applications as it has excellent transmission.
