Q: What is the difference between parallel exit type and vertical exit type monochromators?

A:The only difference between the parallel exit type and the vertical exit type is the exit direction. Since the monochromator is not a square structure, the parallel exit type monochromator has an additional mirror on the basis of the vertical exit type monochromator. Therefore, there are two output options when in use: long side output and short side output.

Q: What is the difference between motorized monochromators and manual monochromators?

A:Motorized monochromators are driven by an upper computer to adjust the wavelength automatically. They usually have higher wavelength accuracy, resolution, faster scanning speed, and better repeatability. Manual monochromators have lower accuracy and repeatability and are suitable for experiments with lower precision requirements.

Q:What is the difference between double outlet monochromators and single outlet monochromators?

A:Compared with single outlet monochromators, the two exits of double outlet monochromators can be switched. According to the actual experimental needs, short side output or long side output can be selected.
