Nano Particle Linear Polarizers

Nanoparticle Linear Polarizers are made of silver particles that is embedded in sodium-silicate glass. As the silver particles absorbs incoming light radiation, the non-polarized light will be polarized linearly and the polarized light will either transmit or be blocked dependent on the polarizer orientation. Due to high damage threshold and better extinction ratio, Nanoparticle Linear Polarizer has a much better performance in comparison to traditional polymer linear polarizers. Each polarizer will have their specific transmission axis which is marked by the dots present on the edge of the polarizer.
