Terahertz Windows

TPX Windows is an extension of the TPX product. Materials with good terahertz transmittance mainly include polymer materials and high-resistance silicon, among which high-silicon has a high refractive index and is more suitable for lens materials. Among the polymer materials, TPX has the best performance of terahertz transmission, but optical grade TPX materials are expensive due to the high shrinkage ratio during injection moulding and the low yield of profiles. At present, terahertz window materials are generally selected from polytetrafluoroethylene, high-density polyethene, TPX, and high-resistance silicon. These materials are also the main materials of terahertz lenses.
