It is a pleasure to have your continued support of SIMTRUM. In July, SIMTRUM restructured the Terahertz Optical Components, and add on few series Terahertz product, please refer to the details below.


TPX Terahertz Plano Convex Lens

There are two types of metamaterials with good terahertz transmittance mainly include high-molecular-weight materials and high-resistance silicon. Among them, the refractive index of high-resistance silicon (HRFZ-Si) is high. This material is more suitable for making lens.

HDPE Terahertz Plano Convex Lens 

HDPE is a light elastic crystalline material. It can be heated to 110°C or cooled to -45 ~ -120°C. Usually, HDPE also comes as a component material. In addition to thick lenses and windows, thin HDPE can also be used as THz polarizers.

Off – Axis Parabolic Mirrors 

Parabolic mirrors (parabolic reflectors) are mirrors where a cross section through the optical surface has the shape of a parabola. it was designed to focus or collimate broadband light. The focus of a centered parabolic mirror is located on the axis of the incoming beam, for many users this is not practical. Therefore, an off-axis parabolic mirrors usually is the best choice because the focus point lies outside the incoming beam.

SIMTRUM Launched the Terahertz Quantum Cascade Lasers (QCL) systems for imaging, spectroscopy, and heterodyne receivers. Milliwatt average power levels are available in a range of frequencies from 1.8 to 5 THZ. The compact systems are turnkey, operate cryogen free and require no optical alignment, THz QCL devices are available in multi-mode Fabry-Perot or single frequency distributed feedback (DFB) devices. QCL Housing-100 Versatile Laboratory Platform is a turnkey source of terahertz radiation that uses an integral Stirling Cycle cooler for cryogen-free and alignment-free operation. It is available with a multi-QCL option, which integrates up to four, automatically switched QCLS in the same system.

QCL Housing-1000 High Powered Terahertz Lasers is our latest generation of turnkey terahertz Quantum Cascade Laser source, offering average power levels of up to 200mW* thanks to the more powerful Pulse Tube cryocooler. The system is configurable with a wide range of QCLs emitting at discrete frequencies between 1.9 and 5THz in CW / Pulsed and single/multimode.  Multiple QCLs can be mounted in the same cooler (Multi-QCL option) and is available on request.
