The SIMTRUM Website Soft Launch

The SIMTRUM website was conceptualized in the first half of 2019 right around this time. In that same year, our team's size doubled to over 10 people, effectively doubling our products and project teams.

At the heart of this effort was our mission: To make photonic technology more accessible, affordable, and exciting.  

This project was started with the intentions of bringing precision equipment, well designed solutions and provide knowledge-based services to our partners in the research and industrial field here at home. The goal was to aid them in their research and work and created new solutions where there were none before.

Despite the difficulties of 2020 such as the circuit breaker or covid regulation measures, we held steadfast to our mission by having our team adapt to working from home and familiarizing ourselves with digitalization instead of our usual face-to-face interactions. Our team rallied together to bring our services and solutions to the customer, meeting our key targets for the year.

Using our collective years of experiences and networking connections, we liaised with partners from Europe, America, and Asia to bring new and exciting state-of-the art technologies into Singapore. In doing so, we have started to build relationships and connections to help benefit the photonic community here and are quickly establishing ourselves as a knowledge hub.

The SIMTRUM website is approaching the next step with ready-to-launch products being uploaded daily onto the website. With all these new products on the shelves, applications that were previously impossible can now be made possible.

I would like to thank my team, advisors, and customers for supporting us through this tumultuous time. While our website is still in Soft Launch, we have full categories prepared and ready for your viewing.
