Bandpass Filters are used to select a specific band of the spectrum to allow them to be transmitted, while other wavelengths of the spectrum are blocked. When a light beam passes through the filter, it interferes with the substrate allowing certain wavelengths to be transmitted while others reflected or absorbed. Bandwith can be expressed as full width at half maximum (FWHM). The narrower the bandwidth, the more sophisticated the coating.
Simtrum offers Bandpass Filters in a variety of coating such as: Narrow Bandpass Filters, Broadband Bandpass Filters, etc.
